Appraisal:

This is a fun collection of short stories. While each story stands alone, it should be clear that they are all crime fiction. If you’re a fan of that genre you ought to enjoy reading all of these. A few of the stories have the same protagonist, a guy who is a good guy in many ways, but has some issues as well. His stories were fun to read and even when you realized it was a story featuring him, you weren't sure what direction things might go. All in all, a fun and engaging read.
