Author:

Under the pen name Sullivan Lee as well as her own name, Laura L Sullivan is the author of several traditionally published books in multiple genres. The former social worker, newspaper editor, and deputy sheriff is now also self publishing her short stories.

Description:

“Oskar wants a pet snake more than anything. His cold, unkind mother refuses, but finally says that if he can take care of a plant for six months, she'll let him have a snake. Little does Oskar know that she plans to sabotage his plant. But this plant is special – and her efforts to kill it only make it stronger!”

Appraisal:

Snake Plant is a fun little story for young and old alike. Oskar wants a pet and after listening to his mother’s objections to dogs, cats, and the other obvious choices he thinks he’s hit on the perfect animal, a snake. But Mom’s got other plans. For any kid whose parent’s rules seem to go too far (or any adult who was once one of those kids) this story should be very easy to relate to.

Format/Typo Issues:

No significant issues.
