Choose Your Own Review #1 - Winner

Congratulations to the winner of the first "choose your own review" lottery,  Anne, who chose selection #1, Love and Money by Ruth Harris. Look for a review of the winning selection the week of May 21st.

I expect to do more of these in the future. If anyone has suggestions on ways to improve these, comment below.

I'm so jazzed! I adore Ruth Harris's books, and have been a fan for decades. Love and Money was at the top of the bestseller lists at one time, and got great reviews in places like People and USA today, but in our new ebook revolution universe, a good word from Big Al has more power than those old treeware rags :-) Thanks!

And thanks for the comment on my "How to be a Guest Blogger" post today. I'm sure you deal with way more spam from clueless authors and publicists than I do. It gets harder and harder to be polite to the robo-requests. So I think I'll follow your advice and file them under "delete."

Do you review POD books? I've recently published a fiction based on reality about my childhood in a cult and its repercussions. "A Train Called Forgiveness" is available at Amazon. Learn more at http://www.danerickson.net

Dan, refer to the "submitting a book for review" link under "pages" in the upper right for all the details on what we review and how to submit a book for consideration.

Regarding your specific question, to be considered for review a book must be available in a Kindle ebook format from Amazon. Being POD for a paper version, or not even being available in paper at all would not preclude a book from review consideration.

It's the first time I get here and I'm not familiar with the rules about the reviews. But I find the blog comments are very hot. Amazing!

This is a really fun idea, Al. Love it and I think everyone else will, too. I am looking forward to reading this review.
